Privacy policy

Your privacy, in plain words.

Last updated 20 June 2026

Your privacy comes first. Your video is used only to generate your feedback, then deleted automatically within a day — never sold, never shared with anyone else.

What PosturePrep does

You pick a practice question, record a short video of yourself answering, and an AI reads your delivery — eye contact, posture, expression, and energy — then shows you feedback. That recording is the personal data this app is built around.

Signing in

PosturePrep uses Google sign-in. We use it to recognise your account and keep your practice sessions tied to you.

Your video and the AI analysis

When you record an answer, your video is sent to Google for AI analysis by Gemini. Google processes it on servers in the United States and returns the analysis we show you in your results.

Where your data goes

Because the analysis runs on Google’s AI, your video is transferred to the United States. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and its certification status is currently Active. That Framework is a recognised basis for moving personal data from the EU/EEA to certified US companies.

Transfer Impact Assessment (the short version)

In plain terms, here’s how we think about sending your video to the US:

  • The only data involved is a short practice video of you answering a question.
  • It goes to one provider — Google — for one purpose: analysing your delivery. It isn’t shared further.
  • Google’s EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification is Active, which gives the transfer a recognised legal basis.
  • The video is deleted automatically within about a day, so it only exists for a short window.

For this kind of data, we consider the transfer low-risk.

How long we keep your video

Your video is kept only as long as it takes to analyse it and show you your results, then deleted automatically within about 24 hours (a day) of your practice. You don’t need to do anything to make that happen.
